New York Outrigger is proud to announce, for the first time ever, the Liberty Luau will be held indoors!

The Liberty Luau officially closes the 2007 Liberty World Outrigger Competition to be held on Saturday, June 30.

The Liberty 2007 Luau will be held at the posh downtown club BLVD at 199 Bowery, between Spring & Rivington in NoLiTa (a short cab ride from the Exchange hotel). The luau will take place between 7pm-10pm. Liberty paddlers gain free admission. Friends and family are welcome at a nominal charge of $20. Tickets can be purchased during race registration or at the door.

Admission will include a luau buffet dinner, Heartland Brewery Beer and Fiji Water while supplies last.
Cash Bar for all other liquor. Special drink prices are available for anyone who buys the NYO wine glasses for $10.

Two Halaus, “Hula O Na Mele Aina O’ Hawai’i” and “Lei Pasifika” will be performing throughout the night.

Raffle tickets will also be sold during the night, at race registration and during the race. The drawing will occur between 9:30-10pm. You must be present to claim your prize which include a one week stay at the Poipu Kai Resort in Kauai from Suite Paradise, a pair of round-trip tickets on Continental Airlines within the contiguous 48 states, Canada, Alaska, Mexico and the Caribbean and sunglasses from Maui Jim Sunglasses.

Following the Liberty 2007 Luau, the Exchange Hotel will be hosting a After-Luau Partyat the hotel between 10pm and 1am.
