Registration

Registration will open shortly for all local, national and international OC-6 crews who would like to participate in the Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge hosted by New York Outrigger. The race divisions and classes include:

• Women’s Division: Spec Open, Spec Masters (40+), Unlimited.
  
• Men’s Division: Spec Open, Spec Masters (40+), Unlimited.
  
• Mixed Division: Spec Open, Spec Masters (40+), Unlimited.

Boat Loans
Request Deadline: TBD

Many local clubs have generously offered their canoes to teams who are unable to transport their own. A Loan Payment must be paid to the loaning club for use of their canoe. Please indicate on the registration form whether or not your crew needs to borrow a canoe and we will make the arrangements between you and the loaning clubs.

Keiki Paddlers (Under 18)

Crews may deduct US$30 from the registration fee for each paddler under 18 years of age.

FREE AGENT REGISTRATION

Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge representatives will no longer be handling placement of free agents for teams. All free agents who are in search of a team or those in need of free agents to fill out your team for this year’s race may do so on our Liberty Challenge Free Agent Forum on Facebook. Follow the link below to sign-on. Once connections are made for a full crew, the crew captain may register the team in the OC6 Crew Entry Form above.

REGISTERED ATHLETE WAIVER

All paddlers are required to complete a waiver to participate in the Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge. As soon as your captain has registered your crew, your captain will have a link that should be sent to you to allow you to complete the online waiver. Please contact your captain for the link.

DISPLAY OF TEAM SPONSOR LOGOS

Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge officials reserve the right to refuse any display of sponsor logos including but not limited to canoes and apparel. No airline logos may be displayed at the Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge other than Hawaiian Airlines. See RULES AND REGULATIONS for more details.
