Lahaina Canoe Club – Est. 1971 is the original canoe club on the West side of Maui. Our focus has always been on our Keiki (children) in order to perpetuate the culture of outrigger paddling for future generations. Our annual regatta is the Keiki o Maui in honor of all the children of Maui. We have a membership of roughly 75 – children and adults combined, which places us on the smaller scale of the Hawaiian Outrigger program spectrum, that being said Lahaina can boast 3 State medals in the past three years, 1 each in Gold, Silver and Bronze for the men’s program with the keiki growing fast and looking to step up their performance with each stroke on the water.
